The Trust has Associates spread throughout the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Tairawhiti regions to enable you to get timely (and in most cases local knowledgeable) support to deal with your concerns. Within reason Associates are available Our service is available 24 hrs per day, 7 days per week during reasonable hours and are there to assist whenever possible.

Clear Communication

Associates are just ordinary people doing an extraordinary job. They are not medical experts but can help you to understand what the health professionals are saying by asking the necessary questions that you need to know the answers for, including an explanation of any medical jargon.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is of utmost importance to the Trust’s service and so matters that you discuss will only be revealed to those authorised by you, to obtain the information. Equally, your medical information will not be disclosed outside the enquiry.
